I have had one-to-one coaching sessions with Rob and I can't say enough great things about him and his way of working. I am no stranger to therapy, and while Rob's method is coaching, not therapy, his approach has helped me light years beyond anything I've experienced previously. The insights for me are life changing and working with Rob has moved me far beyond where I thought I would go. I reached out to Rob for one-to-one coaching because of seeing his
Q & A sessions on the This Naked Mind's the PATH. I really resonated with how he communicates (very compassionately) and how he is quietly able to shift your thinking towards new perspectives that become "aha" moments. He is fully compassionate and in tune with what you are saying. He then takes you in a direction you weren't expecting and wouldn't have thought to go in, which turns out to be another "aha" moment. As someone else mentioned on this review page, Rob is gifted and meant to do this work, and I am so very glad that he does. - Shelly R·
I first met Rob on The Path (TNM). I connected with him right away. He is open and willing to share his past and how he has navigated his journey to freedom. He's personable, funny and humble as he presents questions that will challenge your beliefs about alcohol. I've enjoyed one on one meetings with Rod as well as group meetings. In either setting he is inventive and focused on leading the group or individual as everyone evolves. With Rob's help, I am gratefully able to say that alcohol is small and irrelevant in my life. Thank you Rob!

Rob is the best! After just a few meetings with him (one-on-one and group) I told Rob he is better than any therapist I have ever had. Rob has a way of framing conversations and asking questions that is so impactful and thought provoking. He is SO engaged with you and is 100% "with you" wherever the conversation goes. While Rob has an amazing amount of professional knowledge - knowledge that he deploys highly effectively - for me it is Rob's quality or essence as a person that is especially impactful. He combines his knowledge with his amazingly insightful and incredibly compassionate self to guide you through whatever you need. Rob was born to do this work, if you ask me. I have learned a lot from previous coaches. But Rob has a really, REALLY special quality that is unlike anyone I have worked with before. I have faith when I say that I know I can make important changes with Rob's guidance. I am not a review writer usually - but I really wanted to write this review for Rob because he is extraordinary. I have never felt a coach was as invested in me as I feel Rob is. Maybe that is the most important thing - he invests in each and every one of us and it is palpable. I cannot recommend Rob highly enough.

I took part in Rob's group coaching. With Rob's leadership and guidance our group grew very close and are still a great support to each other. Rob is gifted with the ability to create a calming safe environment. He's very knowledgeable and delivers content in an effective and relatable manner. But, if I had to pick Rob's strongest attribute it is his ability to talk through your beliefs in a way that unlocks deeper feelings. It is pretty amazing to watch. I walked away from our group with several uncovered truths. I highly recommend him as an individual and/or a group coach.

Rob has been my coach in both a group setting and one on one. All I can say is that he is the best!! When working with a group, he has a knack of knowing who needs a little extra attention. He is able to talk through any issue that they are facing and make it relevant to all of us. His coaching skills are on display as he helps us clarify our relationship with alcohol. He also is working with us on creating new habits and aspirations as we move towards a life not controlled by alcohol. I recently had a slip up after months of being alcohol free. I truly thought I had worked through all my issues surrounding alcohol. I was stunned and so sad. I reached out to Rob and set up some one on one sessions. Best thing I could have ever done. In just 3 sessions he was able to help me dig deep and find a belief I had around alcohol that was holding me back from total freedom. It's funny because in the beginning I thought maybe he was going in the wrong direction with me, but as we talked it out I started to see that he was leading me in exactly the right direction. He really knows what he is doing. He has given me some great tools and insight that will help me make alcohol small and irrelevant in my life. I would 100% recommend Rob as a coach and mentor in your quest to gain freedom from alcohol!!

I am AF after reading Annie's book This Naked Mind. I enrolled in her 1-year The PATH in December 2020, even though it seems to be directed at people who are trying to learn to quit drinking and who have not read or fully absorbed TNM yet, because I was not going to do AA or rehab aftercare, and I wanted a gentle transition and support network. The material is redundant for me mostly, so far, since I was already AF and had devoured her book, but I'm enjoying it.
Because of my sort of individualized, "hybrid" approach, where I had shunned the advice of the AA-centered programs and rehab to continue on in their mould and to do the PATH, I thought it would be helpful to find a TNM certified coach to bounce ideas off of, to get a sanity check for my sort of cobbled-together approach. I wanted a coach who also was familiar with AA so that he could understand my context. After researching several of the TNM coaches, I contacted Rob. We've now had a few sessions and I am really glad I found him. He is great, supportive, adapted to my unique situation. I don't really feel like I need a lot of help since I am not struggling and am happily AF, but he has accommodated me and offered helpful guidance and suggestions. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a TNM coach.
